Thanksgiving week is here and another exciting weekend in the NFL is upon us. The Patriots defeated the Falcons 25-0 to kick things off, and it will only get better from here. We have some of the best NFL Picks Against the Spread coming at you with another great weekend of pigskin in store.
As far as the weekend goes, there are plenty of games worth checking out. And as always, upsets will definitely occur. But a few teams will be locks to come away victorious, as well. So let’s take a look.
Titans -9.5 Over Texans
When talking about the Houston Texans, there is pretty much nothing good to say. The front office dysfunction has pretty much spread right on down to the product on the field. And perhaps it’s just bad luck, or it’s something larger at play. Regardless, they have not won or played a competitive football game since week 1.
The Titans, meanwhile, have been able to go 2-0 without Derrick Henry so far. They added a few running backs, and they have done enough thus far to keep the ball moving just enough. Holding off the Saints in a thriller last weekend, they showed that they could keep it together. After that, nothing is stopping them.
Tennessee will cover this spread very easily. The game is not going to be close. At all.
Colts +7 vs. Bills
Buffalo has been a good football team this year. That would be entirely true if you took out the Jaguars game, which is just a few weeks old now. They have had some great moments and some nasty ones as well. Some good things have happened for them, but they still have issues with running the football.
The Colts have rebounded from a slow start, and though they have a long way to go in the Wild Card race, their season is just now beginning. Carson Wentz has been great for them, while the run game has shown up consistently.
Leave it to Indy to cover the spread here and perhaps even squeak out a road win against the Bills.
49ers -4 vs. Jaguars
The 49ers and Jaguars will play Sunday, and it is a winnable game for both sides. But it is a lot more important for San Francisco, who may have gotten their swagger back last weekend in a thrashing against the Rams. They won that game in a way nobody expected them to and remain very relevant in the NFC Wild Card race.
As for the Jaguars, very little has gone right for them this year. There has been as much off-field drama with new coach Urban Meyer as there has been an on-field success. Unfortunately, this has not gone according to plan at all, and Trevor Lawrence really has not been anything special in his rookie campaign.
This is an easy bet for the 49ers, who are only favored by four points. Elijah Mitchell is going to run wild on them. No doubt.
