While Katy Perry was billed as the headliner for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, the performance was definitely all about Missy. Katy, who opened up the show on a larger-than-life robotic tiger while performing “Roar,” surprised fans by bringing out one of hip hop’s fav femcees for her own mini-set.
As the “Fireworks” popstar rocked the crowd with her playful performance of “California Girls,” which featured her singing and dancing with dancers in shark costumes, Katy took things up a notch when Missy hit the stage.
Missy and her crew shut the University of Phoenix Stadium down as she performed a short set of her biggest hits including “Work It,” “Get Ur Freak On” and “Lose Control,” which had fans in the stadium and the more than 100 million viewers rockin!
Missy wasn’t the only artist Katy brought to the Super Bowl stage; she also performed a duet of “I Kissed A Girl” with Lenny Kravitz.
