Michael Sam didn’t Make Rams Practice Squad Either

Michael Sam did not make the cut for the St. Louis Rams. Sam was cut over the weekend, and also didn’t make the team’s practice squad.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher cited “football reasons” why Sam didn’t make the roster or practice squad, despite teams being upped from seven to 10 players this season.

the team’s injuries on the offensive line and secondary as reasons why the team was concerned about its depth at other spots and couldn’t keep more than 10 defensive linemen on the roster.

The CFL has extended an invite to Sam, and reportedly there are a few NFL teams who are/were considering Sam but are a little gun shy of the media glare that comes along with him. Is this the end of Sam’s NFL career? Anything is possible but the league tends to move on rather quickly.
