I believe sports are better when there’s trash talk involved. So, I loved Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman’s post game interview with Erin Andrews when he shared his thoughts on Niners receiver Michael Crabtree. Crabtree responded on Twitter.
Film don’t lie… @nflnetwork @espn pull up the tape of that game and show me where this guy is the best? #fake #fake #fake

Crabtree also responded in post game.
“He’s a TV guy, I’m not a TV guy,” Crabtree said. “He didn’t make any other plays in the game … But he made a good play there. He can keep talking. …
“You make one play and you talk? Good play.”
So then Richard Sherman responded on Twitter as well.
A lion doesn’t concern himself with the opinions of a sheep.

“Done saying I’m Done playing”

I guess this is a rivalry we can look forward to next season. But Sherman might be a Super Bowl champ at that point.
And if you thought all he had for Michael Crabtree were his comments to Erin Andrews… No, he reminded everyone in his postgame presser that King Crab is a “mediocre” receiver.
“I was making sure everybody knew Crabtree was a mediocre receiver,” Sherman said at the postgame news conference. “And when you try the best corner in the game with a mediocre receiver, that’s what happens.”
