More trouble for estranged NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel. A grand jury has indicted Manziel for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley last January.
Crowley initially told police Manziel struck her several times during an argument in the car after leaving a bar in Dallas. Crowley reportedly claimed “I’m scared for my life.”
Dallas police initially declined to charge Manziel, but later reopened it to send to a grand jury for a decision on if charges would be brought against him.
CBS radio Dallas reported the grand jury’s indictment on Sunday. Manziel is being charged with misdemeanor assault with bodily injury which carries up to a year jail time.
