Giants RB David Wilson compares himself to birth control

A New York Giants running back had an interesting way of describing himself on the field. David Wilson hasn’t had the best season thus far. But he’s not letting that shake his confidence. We’ve talked before how I believe that winners need to have an edge about them. Some cockiness. An edge or to put it bluntly as the Black Mamba would, a little A$$hole in them.

So when Wilson said he considers himself a future “Hall of Famer,” you can’t be mad at him having high aspirations. However, his follow up comment, we ‘re going to have to discuss:

“I’m like birth control,” he said. “You have to believe in me. Like birth control, 99.9 percent of the time I’m going to come through for you.”

WAIT. So he thinks the reason why birth control works is because people BELIEVE in it? BWAAAAAAHHHHHHHH. Yeah… no, more like consistent proper usage of it. I mean, I suppose that can be applied here as well but that is funny!

Maybe if he was a defensive player, like a cornerback and his job was to stop something I’d be more into it. You’ve got to love rookies.
