Giants player Prince Amukamara dumped in a cold tub by teammate [video]

Harmless hazing of a teammate or something we should pay attention to? Giants player Prince Amukamara was dumped into a cold tub by teammate Pierre-Paul during training camp. Punter Steve Weatherford recorded the incident and posted it online. The video shows other Giants teammates egging Pierre-Paul on as he carries Prince over his shoulder and drops him. There’s no reason given for the prank.

“Yeah, um, well, I mean, I just don’t get it. I don’t understand the rules,” last year’s first-round pick told The Star-Ledger. “I mean, I’m not a rookie anymore, so I don’t know why I’m getting thrown in the tub. I know it’s all love.

“Yeah, no one ever likes it, especially when it’s you vs. eight and no one’s helping you. But it doesn’t mess up our team morale or anything.”

The NFL has said it’s a team matter (Good) however, Tom Coughlin said he’ll look into it. Really seems like an internal matter that shouldn’t garner too much public reaction. Someone on the video can be heard telling Amukamara to stand up for himself. The second-year player didn’t appear to be struggling before the drop.
