The Tennessee Titans released QB, Vince Young on Thursday, their No. 3 overall pick in the 2006. But all is not lost as the Eagles have signed Young to a one-year deal.
Titans owner Bud Adams indicated during the latter parts of the 2010 season that Young would either be traded or released as there had been several issues that clouded the QB’s time with the team capping off with a season-ending thumb injury on his right, throwing hand Nov. 21. The same day he tossed his shoulder pads into the stands and told off then-coach Jeff Fisher in front of the rest of the team before storming out.
Backing up Vick will give him a fresh start and considering it’s just a one-year deal, time to impress another suitor or convince the Eagles he’s worth more than a year investment.
