The first Monday Night Football game of the 2013 NFL season did not disappoint. Eagles vs. Redskins had several storylines; the return of Skins QB Robert Griffin III, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly’s first NFL game and the resurgence of Michael Vick.
The Eagles came out fired up with a lighting fast offense. The Eagles ran 53 plays in the first half, 28 in the first quarter alone. That hasn’t happened since 1990. Of course there was a Vick to DeSean Jackson connection. DJacc hit his “Cousin Terio” dance in the endzone to celebrate.
Jacc wasn’t the first to break out the Terrio in this young season, Ravens RB Ray Rice did it in the season opener.
And of course John Wall demonstrated his version a few weeks back. DeSean even gave us a hint he planned to break it out a few weeks ago on his Instagram page.
