Darren Sproles wife says God will punish the Saints for mistreatment of her husband

New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles wasn’t too happy on Tuesday when he discovered on Twitter that his team planned to trade him instead of releasing him into NFL free agency.

The preference is to control your own destiny. Sproles obviously would rather have some say so as to where he ends up.

“I want to get released,” Sproles said. “I don’t want to be traded. I don’t know where they would send me because I have no control over it and I want to be able to pick. The good thing is none of the teams I’m told they’re talking to are terrible. It’s more than two…”

Sproles wife, Michel took it one step further on Instagram Wednesday, saying God was going to punish the Saints for their treatment of her husband.

No need to wonder, the IG post has already been deleted. But She did follow it up this AM with a clarification… Sort of.
