Cowboys Orlando Scandrick Apologizes For Dropping Molly in Mexico

Cowboys CB Orlando Scandrick got a little caught up this off season. While on vacation in Mexico with his girlfriend, “Basketball Wives LA” star Draya Michelle, Scandrick dropped a molly. Unfortunately for him, his random off season drug test came soon after. Scandrick has been suspended for the first four games of this season.

Scandrick apologized and took responsibility. He also made it clear that rumors about Draya slipping him a molly all in his champagne and “he didn’t even know it” like Rick Ross, are false. Draya and Orlando are back together for those that were concerned.

“I’m responsible for what goes in my body,” Scandrick said. “I’m very sorry. I apologize to the Jones family. I’m very sorry to my teammates. I’m sorry to the fans of Cowboy Nation. I’m very sorry to my family.”

“In no way, form or shape was this trying to gain a competitive edge. I simply made a mistake. It was just a dumb mistake,” Scandrick, who appealed the suspension but said Tuesday he was not expecting to win.

He also had a message for his teammates, don’t do drugs.

“You have to do all the right things, even when you think no one is looking,” Scandrick said. “Don’t take anything that you think is a drug. You’re not supposed to use drugs, regardless of if you think you don’t think you’re going to test positive.”

It would be wrong for me to bring up Ravens Ray Rice and his suspension… But, here it goes.

Orlando Scandrick partying with his hot girlfriend on vacation, wanted to get a little freaky, but took the wrong party drug = 4 games.

Ray Rice knocks out his wife, and drags her out of an elevator = 2 games.
