In 2012 when Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant was given a set of “rules” by Cowboys brass following an altercation with his mother where he allegedly physically assaulted her. “The Dez Bryant Rules” included a curfew, a three-man security detail and counseling sessions.
Fast forward to 2014, a Dallas reporter recently asked Jerry Jones if those guidelines were still in place for Dez. Jerry indicated that they were.
“He doesn’t need to drop his guard,” Jones said Tuesday at the NFL owners meetings. “In some respect, none of us do.”
Dez wasn’t happy with the reporter asking that question and sent out a tweet – which he later deleted – blasting the reporter and telling him not to speak to him in the upcoming season.
