On Thursday, a TMZ report stated San Francisco 49’ers QB Colin Kapernick was being investigated for what is now being described as a “sexual incident” that didn’t actually involve sex. Colin took to Twitter Friday morning to defend himself and clarify some of the rumors that have come out regading the situation.
(1/3) The charges made in the TMZ story and other stories I’ve seen are completely wrong. They make things up about me that never happened.

(2/3) I take great pride in who I am and what I do, but I guess sometimes you have to deal with someone who makes things up.
— Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) April 11, 2014
(3/3) I want to thank all of the people who have shared their encouraging sentiments. I assure you that your faith is not misplaced.

Just as a note to Colin’s PR team, most people who are tweeting from the heart generally don’t know in advance how many Tweets it will take to make their statements. Perhaps leaving the numbered Tweets would be a good idea for next time.
But, I do believe the initial report jumped the gun. Colin has been in Miami this off season working out.
