Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton is the clear MVP this season. Cam has been fire on field and his charitable contributions around Charlotte have been spreading cheer before it t’was “officially” the season to do so.
Cam is a competitor. If you call, he’s going to answer. Of course not at the expense of his team. Under those conditions, people generally appreciate that trait. On Sunday during Panthers vs. Giants, “Lil” Odell Beckham made the call and Cam responded like a BOSS would. Following the game, the QB addressed the competitive spirit that took over the game and ODB’s “dab” shot.
One of my favorite moments from this game came late in the fourth quarter, following Odell’s touchdown and “Iverson moment.” Cam showed true leadership and respect for the challenge, by simply nodding “ok.” He then proceeded to march his team down the field to victory.
