Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith younger brother Tevin dies in motorcycle accident

Prayers up for Baltimore Ravens receiver Torrey Smith and his family. Smith’s younger brother Tevin (19) was killed in a single vehicle motorcycle crash late Saturday night.

Tevin Chris Jones was riding his motorcycle on Route 672 in Westmoreland County in northeast Virginia when he ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole, according to Virginia State Police.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was wearing a helmet, and alcohol was not a factor. The accident is under investigation.

Smith was alerted early Sunday morning and left the Ravens’ team hotel around 2 a.m. with security from the Ravens. Smith indicated that he wanted to play in Sunday night’s game against the Patriots.

Smith took to Twitter and Instagram Sunday morning to express his grief.
