It was no secret that Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin wouldn’t be returning to the Super Bowl champs despite 22 catches, 380 yards and four touchdowns in the post season. But what IS shocking is where Boldin was traded to and for what. The Ravens and the team they faced off against in the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49’ers have completed a trade that sends Boldin west for a sixth-round pick.
Boldin will still keep his $6 million salary next season. Will play for his ex coaches younger brother and bring to the niners behind Michael Crabtree. Sounds like a win.
