Albert Haynesworth’s NFL career a wrap due to a degenerative back?

Raise your hand if you can recall the last time you discussed Albert Haynesworth on-field performance and not his hijinks or weight? Looks as if those memories might be all you have left of Haynesworth’s career as his former coach, Jim Washburn thinks it’s a wrap for the free agent DT

“He calls me every night and says, ‘Hey, Wash, it’s your big black son… “I think he’s finished. Gotta degenerative back,” said Washburn.

Haynesworth was cut by the Bucs in February. Washburn has loved him since he coached him back in Haynesworth’s Titan days. While the Eagles most certainly could use a DT, looks like Washburn’s “big, black son” isn’t on the team’s radar.
