49’ers QB Colin Kaepernick said he made too many mistakes in Super Bowl 47

Sophomore QB Colin Kaepernick played an incredible game for the San Francisco 49’ers in Super Bowl 47. The 49’ers had an amazing comeback but ultimately fell short. Kaepernick says the blame lies with him.

“I feel like I made too many mistakes for us to win,” Kaepernick said.

“Things weren’t working in the first half,” Kaepernick said. “We just didn’t finish our drives. We turned the ball over a couple times. That was the difference in the game.”

“We stopped ourselves,” Kaepernick said.

Kaepernick ended the night with 302 yards passing and 62 rushing yards. I think the Niners will be back to the Super Bowl soon. They have all the pieces. This was a learning experience. For Kaepernick to come back from that first half and perform, it says a lot about him as a man and a football player.
