2011 NFL Wildcard Weekend

Ok, at this time of the year, I get why the NFL is exciting. It’s like a Game 7 of an NBA playoff series Every round!

Some of the teams I developed crushes on are involved. I guess that means I did a pretty good job assessing talent.

I’ve highlighted my picks below. If there’s nothing there it means I don’t have a preference. Maybe you can enlighten me on why I should have made a choice.

NFC Wild Card Match-ups
  • Saturday, January 8, 2011 – 4:30 p.m. EST/1:30 p.m. PST on NBC
    • New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks
  • Sunday, January 9, 2011 – 4:30 p.m. EST/1:30 p.m. PST on FOX
    • Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles
    • Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears receive first-round byes.
AFC Wild Card Match-ups
  • Saturday, January 9, 2011 – 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PST  on NBC
    • New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts
  • Sunday, January 8, 2011 – 1:00 p.m. EST/10:00 a.m. PST on CBS
    • Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs
    • New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers receive first-round byes.

I know my Eagles pick is mostly because of Michael Vick but the bottom line, what he’s done on the field has been fantastic. Seemed like an ok reason to me.
