Houston Rockets forward Trevor Ariza was about that life Tuesday night in Dallas. Ariza waited outside the Mavericks locker room for center Salah Mejri after the two teams played.
Teammates Patrick Beverley, James Harden and Eric Gordon went to the Mavs locker room with Ariza after the game. Mejri did not leave the locker room, and also denied he said anything. The Rockets players left the area before there was a confrontation. Dallas police officers were outside to ensure the confrontation didn’t further escalate.
The game involved a number of confrontations, including eight technical fouls and Ariza’s ejection.
Trevor Ariza isn’t the type of guy to be on some “bully stuff” just because. He’s been in the league for 14 seasons and hasn’t been known to be a troublemaker. But Ariza did tell a Twitter troll to “pull up” one time, so I assume he’s nice with the hands under the right conditions.
