Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Shabazz Muhammad was sent home from the NBA’s Rookie Transition Program. Muhammad violated a rule by having female company in his hotel room Tuesday night. Muhammad will be fined.
The Rookie Transition Program is a four-day seminar which helps to prepare rookies for life in the NBA. The young lady in question was not Shabazz’s girlfriend Cassidy Jordan.
The last time 2008, Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur were expelled from the RTP after it was discovered they had women and the scent of weed in the room. They were each fined $20,000.
Clippers Matt Barnes went on a Twitter rant saying that kicking Shabazz out was overboard and that there’s nothing wrong with an of age young man entertaining the ladies.
