It was a reunion in Texas. Showing that the friendship still remains even though the teams on the front of the jersey’s are different now, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Daequan Cook flicked it up following the Thunder’s victory over the Rockers 124-94.
Stat lines for the night, Russell Westbrook finished with 28 points, eight assists and eight rebounds, KD chipped in 26 points for the Thunder. While James Harden added 25 points but may have been guilty of trying to do too much facing his old team. Daequan played for 12 minutes but didn’t score.
Side note, are KD and Serge Ibaka using the same stylist or is denim and houndstooth fedoras a team look?
The Thunder face the Suns on New Year’s Eve and The Nets on Wednesday. Meanwhile the Rockets have the Hawks on New Year’s Eve and the Hornets on Wednesday.
