The Knicks bounced back from their loss at Memphis on Friday to beat up on the Pacers. In the first quarter, Knicks veteran Jason Kidd collided with Indiana guard Lance Stephenson. Stephenson’s tooth hit Kidd’s head leaving behind a cut that would require seven stitches and a headband to keep blood out of his eyes while he shot his free throws.
So about that headband… Even Jkidd had to laugh at himself.
“Yeah, that’s not my style,” said the 39-year-old Kidd, wearing a bandage on the right side of his head. “I’ll leave that to the guys who like the headband.”
