The Texas A&M Aggies are your NCAA Women’s Basketball Champions! Knocking out Notre Dame (and every rapper, R&B cat and average dude’s fantasy as of late, Skylar Diggins) 76-70.
This game was what the men’s championship game should’ve been. Intense, hard fought and all out heart from these ladies! Diggins finished the game with 23 points but this match up was really all about Texas A&M forward, Danielle Adams (30 points, 9 rebounds) A female Charles Barkley if you will, the fighting Irish couldn’t stop her in the paint.
My second favorite part of the night? After the win, Aggies’s coach Gary Blair was coaxed by his team to hit his dougie
Congrats to both teams on an exciting game. I said it on Sunday, it’s extremely exciting to see new blood around women’s basketball.
Random side note, Maya Moore (UCONN) will more than likely make her WNBA debut against Candace Parker and the Sparks on June 3rd! Owww
