The Golden State Warriors came out beasting on Sunday for Game one of the Wester Semi-conference finals. The big news from the weekend is that their assistant coach, Luke Walton, has accepted the role of the Lakers newest head coach.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had a few good natured shots to throw out at the announcement. The two teams will face each other four times a year.
When a reporter asked what advice Kerr would have for Luke, his response was pure comedy:
“I’m going to say ‘it’s too bad you don’t have Steph and Klay and Draymond anymore. You’re on your own, pal.’
