Sixers Royce White filming documentary

The Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76’ers have completed a trade to send Royce White to the Sixers. The self-proclaimed “anxiety trooper” announced on his Instagram account that he’s shooting a documentary. White spent his rookie season on the sidelines for the most part. He played a bit with the Rockets D League affiliate, the “Rio Grande Vipers” but didn’t even have a single practice with the Rockets. He did however take part in their summer league program in Orlando last summer.

Prior to being drafted last year, White shot a mini-doc with Grantland. White recently made headlines stating that he wouldn’t take “100 flights” for the upcoming season but gave no indication as to how many or at one point that’s likely to take place. He’s also not participating in summer league.

White initially said all the right things before the season began in Houston too. “They took a chance on me, they didn’t have to” we know how well that turned out, maybe the Sixers will have a better go of it.
