Shaq Wants Kobe to Go For 50 in his Final Game

After being away from basketball for two years, Kobe Bryant slowly rounded into form in his final season with the Los Angeles Lakers. At times, we’ve seen flashes of the old Kobe.

This season we saw “Mamba” when the Lakers played LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and let’s not forget that he dropped a season-high 38 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On Wednesday night, Kobe joined his former teammate Shaquille O’Neal on Inside the NBA after  Kobe’s final game against the Phoenix Suns. Shaq had request:

“Can you promise me one thing?…. I need 50 that night.”  Kobe’s response?  “No. Absolutely not.” LOL.  The man knows his limits.
