It’s a sweep! The San Antonio Spurs are headed to the NBA finals again for the fifth time in Tim Duncan’s career and the fourth in point guard Tony Parker’s. Parker lit it up for 37 points on Monday night to send the Memphis Grizzlies off to summer. It’s the Spurs first time back in the finals since 2007.
Parker was even spotted giving a celebratory kiss to his girlfriend, Axelle Francine following his post game interview. A few questions have come up with Tim Duncan making his fifth trip to the NBA finals. Does this put Tim in the same conversation as Kobe Bryant for the greatest player of his generation? And one reminder… not only has Tracy McGrady finally made beyond the first round of the playoffs for the first time in his NBA career, he just might get a ring.
