You rarely hear about players being motivated AFTER the start of free agency but that’s what’s happening with Denver Nuggets free agent, Andre Iguodala. Tuesday it was reported that the Sacramento Kings offered Iguodala a four-year, $56 million deal. While Iggy was allegedly taking some time to consider the offer- teams can’t officially sign players until July 10th- it was believed that the Kings had this one locked up.
But then something happened and the Kings decided they changed their mind pulled that offer off the table.
Iguodala took to his twitter to respond.
Denver offered a five-year, $63 million deal, I guess we know what uniform Iggy will end up in next season. And expect a monster game when whatever team Iguodala joins faces off against the Kings.
