Hours before the Toronto Raptors were set to face off against the Lakers at Stales Center, word came down of a trade. The Raptors send forward Rudy Gay, Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray to the Sacramento Kings for Greivis Vasquez, John Salmons, Patterson and Hayes. The move opens up the starting point guard spot for Isiah Thomas in Sacramento.
You know who I feel for, Rudy Gay’s wife Ecko. She’s pregnant with their first child. Who wants to move in the middle of that!
Gay has a player option for next season that will pay him $19.3 million.
Aaron Gray heard the news from a Lakers sideline reporter.
Raptors Aaron Gray ran this sprint. Asked me if trade went down. Said yes. Ran back to locker room pic.twitter.com/2aAsek2V8b
