Phil Jackson Likes Being Called Jeanie Buss’ “Boy Toy”

Phil Jackson has used Jedi mind tricks on other teams and coaches for years. Of course his last year coaching wouldn’t be any different. Phil is always vocal with his thoughts on the troubles of other teams. When asked his thoughts on how losing Caron Butler would affect the Dallas Mavericks, Phil stated that it would be a difficult void to fill.

Mavs’ owner Mark Cuban also being a very outspoken individual took this as a jab and had this to say in response:

“I love that Jeanie Buss’ boy-toy had something to say about us, I don’t know if it was his thought or Jeanie’s thought, but it’s nice to know that she lets him speak in public about other teams.”

While Mark may have assumed he was getting the best of Jackson with that comment, Phil had this response:

“I love it. I consider myself an old man. That I’m a “Boy Toy,” that’s terrific … Mark gets riled up when I make comments about his team, but they were leading the league. It’s a big blow to a team that’s playing that well.”

Can we just fix the Lakers PLEASE!! That’s my main concern, once that’s done then Phil can play all the head games he wants!
