Shortly before the Celtics faced off against the Miami Heat on Sunday, point guard Rajon Rondo was scratched from the game and having an MRI. He hyper extended his knee on Friday during a game against the Hawks during a double-overtime. It was a game that marked his second consecutive triple-double. The news that came out was bleek. Rondo has torn the ACL in his right knee and is done for the season.
Paul Pierce had no idea what the prognosis was and learned that Rondo was out for the year in this postgame interview with Doris Burke.
