The Portland Trailblazers have been one of the surprise stories of this early NBA season. On Monday night the Blazers faced off against one of the new powerhouses of the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers. The Blazers ended up defeating the Pacers 106-102 to improve their record to 15-3. After the game, Indiana’s center, Roy Hibbert and Lamarcus Aldridge had an exchange on Twitter. Apparently Roy believes Monday’s game was a preview of a future NBA Finals match up.
The Heat, Spurs and Thunder are all saying, “you think so?” Maybe in the future, but for now, I can’t wait for these two teams to meet again in Indiana later this season.
