OJ Mayo made his announcement via Twitter Monday night.
Mayo is moving on the Grizzlies, the team that originally drafted him to the Dallas Mavericks who’re looking to reload after a disappointing season following their 2011 NBA championship.
The Mavericks have quietly made nice moves this offseason. In addition to the Mayo signing, the new look Mavs also add former Clippers and Hornets center Chris Kamen, Darren Collison and recently amnestied Sixers big man Elton Brand.
Mayo said on Twitter he’s making a fresh start and plans to wear #3. No word yet on the terms of the deal.
