OJ Mayo says DeMarcus Cousins has mental issues after Cousins hits him in naughty bits [video]

Dallas Mavericks guard OJ Mayo was rumored to be a locker room headache when he was with the Grizzlies. So it seems rather fitting that he would have advice for Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins. During Monday night’s match up between the Mavs and Kings, Mayo was called for a technical after confronting Cousins because he felt he purposely hit him in his naughty bits.

Following the game, Mayo had these comments to add:

That guy has some mental issues, man. He’s a talented player. He has an opportunity to be the face of that organization, but I don’t think he wants it. … He’s immature, man. Big maturity problem. Hopefully, he’ll grow up out of it and become great. He definitely has the talent to.

Cousins claims it wasn’t on purpose but that there was trash talk going on during the game. So the question remains, is Cousins simply immature or is his bad rap causing things to be blown up?
