The Lakers dismal season continues. During Wednesday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns, guard Nick Young and Suns’ Alex Len were both ejected. The scuffle took place in the second quarter, Young was headed to the basket in transition, when Len tried to stop Nick from getting the dunk. The rookie hit Nick so hard, he was knocked to the floor.
Nick took exception to the hard foul and jumped up and pushed Len. That’s when things got out of hand.
Len was assessed a flagrant 2 foul, which is an automatic ejection and Young, was ejected for what’s being referred to as a ”punching foul.” Suns Marcus Morris was also given a technical for his part in the altercation.
Swaggy p will most likely be receiving a suspension. Not what the Lakers need right now after being hit with a rash of injuries this season. But on the bright side, the march to the bottom and a decent draft pick could result…
Following the game, Swaggy also expressed displeasure at his teammates because none of them helped him on the court. He feels they left him out there to fight one on five.
