Boston Celtics President of basketball operations, Danny Ainge has a bit of back up in his assessment that LeBron James was being a crybaby complaining about fouls. New Orleans Pelicans (Hornets) head coach Monty Williams said Friday following the Heat’s defeat of his team that LeBron isn’t facing grown men like Michael Jordan did, he’s playing against kids.
“Jordan played against men. LeBron plays against young boys. That’s the difference.”
I wonder how his players feel about that statement. LeBron has always been a “man child” as far as his physique. But he definitely missed the era of physical basketball. Is it fair to judge him according to a standard of play that hasn’t been apart of his NBA.
