Most Expensive NBA Game Ticket for 2010-2011 Season

The list for the most expensive tickets in the NBA comes out at an interesting time. David Stern just had his 2010-2011 season kick off call. In it, the subject of “contraction” was brought up. In a nutshell contraction would mean some of the lower revenue teams would be dismantled. Lost of players, and all team employees. Based on gate-receipts, the teams that have struggled the most in the past two years are

Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Bucks, Pacers,  Hawks and Bobcats. All small market teams.

The owners are lobbying for a hard cap. The idea is to save them from themselves. You have to wonder if David Stern is really ready to force all these restrictions on the Players Association on the cusp of what could be one of the greatest NBA Seasons EVER.

Here’s the list. Was there a doubt in your mind that the Christmas game between the Lakers and Heat would be the most expensive? That’s $893 dollars well spent!
