The Bucks and Miami Heat faced off on Saturday night. For Dwyane Wade it’s a coming home of sorts as he attended Marquette university which is in the Milwaukee area. In a pregame interview, Bucks guard Monta Ellis discussed what separates him from DWade. Monta’s answer just a few wins and two NBA championships… Yeah, that’s all.
Take a look.
“To be honest, I would put myself in the same category as D-Wade. I mean, at the end of the day, the only thing that he has that I don’t have is more wins and two championships. That’s it. As far as playing at the same level? Competing every night? Both ends? Shooting inside and outside? Fast break? Transition? Monta Ellis have it all.” – Monta Ellis
This is funny. All that separate me from being a multi-millionaire is a few million. I guess in theory he’s a tad closer to his goal than I am but it’s all hope, right?
The Bucks won last night 104- 85 The head to head battle between Monta and Dwade, Monta ended the night with 14 points, 9 assists and 5 steals. DWade was returning from a one-game suspension ended the night with 24 points, 4 assists and 6 rebounds.
You’re one win closer Monta!
