Mixed Bag- Trevor Ariza, Earl Watson and more

A quick look at stories floating around the internet

  • NBA player Earl Watson filed for divorce last week from his actress wife Jennifer Freeman after she allegedly attack him by biting him (and drawing blood) because he snatched her phone to see who she was texting with… And then today he withdrew his petition saying that they have reconciled. Men love CRAZY, I’m convinced! Don’t believe me, keep reading

  • Chiefs WR Chris Chambers got married last month to a woman he had previous claimed was stalking him and his family (including his WIFE). Chris & Stacy (that’s the stalker) married in Vegas 2 days after his divorce was final. Sounds like a sidepiece got out of pocket and Chris used the easiest way to explain her existence in his life to his now ex wife “she’s stalking me”.

  • A 4 team trade took place yesterday that sends Trevor Ariza to the Hornets, Darren Collison & James Posey to the Pacers, Troy Murphy to the Nets and Courtney Lee to the Rockets.  Interesting move by the Hornets considering Chris Paul wants out and Darren would’ve been the perfect replacement. I don’t know if Trevor Ariza is enough to show CP3 they mean business. Murphy is a great pick up for the Nets. Although both the Celtics & Heat are interested in Posey, his agent has indicated that he won’t seek a buyout from the Pacers.

  • Hard Knocks, the New York Jets edition premiered last night on HBO. I’m telling you RIGHT NOW that I fell in Love with Jets coach Rex Ryan which automatically means the Jets will be one of the teams I’ll pay attention to this upcoming season. You know I’m still trying to develop a love for football and engaging personalities like his helps!
  • In a what were you thinking moment, Jim Dolan, owner of the Knicks, hired Isiah Thomas on as a consultant.  Ummmmmmm aside from the fact that he was FIRED a few years ago, basically ripped through the franchise with the sexual harassment case and his draft picks oh and coaching. He’s currently working as a college coach.

  • Seriously, what’s in the water in NYC? Last night Mets pitcher Francisco Rodriguez or KRod as he’s known was arrested after the game for assaulting his father in law in the tunnel.  THIS after he cursed out a reporter in the locker room. Ummm Anger Management issues. The Mets have suspended him for 2 games.
