The NBA isn’t like the NFL when it comes to certain team rules. NFL players spend the night in a hotel prior to their games, no matter if its a home game or away, effectively giving them a curfew the night before games. For NBA players, even while on the road, the athletes are free to do as they please the night before a game.
But that is changing for the New York Knicks who borrowed a bit from NFL programs.
Carmelo Anthony told reporters that he’s “hearing” of a 10 pm curfew.
I’m also told the players are being fined if its discovered that they had company also. Unfortunately for the Knicks, it didn’t help. They lost Saturday’s match up to the Memphis Grizzlies 95-87. Maybe next time.
