Metta World Peace doesn’t see any team getting past the Lakers this season

Trash talk has begun. Metta World Peace recently appeared on 710 ESPN radio and announced to the world that his expectations for the Lakers are for another ring.

“With the way the Lakers are looking this year, I don’t see anybody getting past us this year at all,” World Peace said.

“I saw (Antwan) Jamison today,” World Peace said. “People forget how much a great rebounder he is. He’s one of the greatest rebounders of the game, he has the best touch out of everybody in the NBA, best touch out of all the big men in the game.

He’s not alone with those feelings. Several other NBA players (Chris Bosh, Stephen Jackson etc.) have expressed that on paper, the Lakers are looking beast-like. Of course, that all has to translate on court. But one thing about the Laker franchise, it always rebuilds itself. Two weeks until camp opens. EXCITED!!!
