Metta World Peace is a character and it looks like he’s planning on bringing his ‘A’ game this season. Not only did he come to camp in shape, he’s been aggressive on defense in preseason. During the Lakers game at Staples in Saturday, Metta showed that not only is he ready to muscle the competition with blocks, he’s also a gentleman who understands the “SHOW” aspect of the Lake show.

Did you check the high 5 between the chick and her friend? I bet she was trying to get his attention the whole game after that stunt. He made her month! She’ll be telling this story for weeks.

When asked why he did it, Metta gave a CLASSIC response:

  “I just saw in her eyes that she liked the hustle”
