The actual NBA season hasn’t gotten underway yet but Mavs guard Delonte West has already been suspended due to “conduct deemed detrimental to the team.” Details are few but there was an alleged outburst of some sort in the locker room following the Mavs preseason win against the Rockets. The length of the suspension is a mystery at the moment too. West only played 16 minutes, scoring two points and two assists.
I would hope the issue wasn’t over playing time in preseason. Yesterday was his mother’s birthday, maybe he wanted to do something special for her… OR, perhaps someone told him they didn’t like the beats for his new mixtape.
