And then there were eight. With the NCAA’s college basketball tournament down to the Elite Eight, here’s your game scheduled and what you should be looking out for as March Madness rolls on.
The Elite Eight begins Saturday night.
Saturday, March 28th
6:09 PM EST/ 3:09 PM PST (1) Wisconsin vs. (2) Arizona
Network: TBS
These two teams met last year in the Elite Eight, the roles were reversed at that time with Arizona being the top seed. That game went to overtime, with the Badgers winning by a point. This year, Wisconsin is the top dog. I expect them to move on to the Final Four
8:49 PM EST/5:49 PST (1) Kentucky vs. (3) Notre Dame
Network: TBS
You know this story well at this point, Kentucky is undefeated this season. So far in the tournament, they gave the worst beat down to their last opponent, West Virgina (78-39) The added incentive to blow the Mountaineers out came from West Virginia guard Daxter Miles Jr. who boldly proclaimed before the game, that the Wildcats would go down 36-1. Naturally Twitter and Instagram lit him up following the loss.
Roll with the winner, that’s what Drake and I say.
Sunday, March 29th
2:20 PM EST/ 11:20 AM PST (4) Louisville vs. (7) Michigan State
Toss up to me… I’d say pick Louisville
Network: CBS
5:05 PM EST/ 2:05 PM PST (1) Duke vs. (2) Gonzaga
I’m a West Coast girl. Since Gonzaga beat UCLA, I’ll ride out with them.
