LeBron James turned 30 a few days ago, and it seems as if Father Time is welcoming him to the dirty30’s. James will miss two weeks after tests revealed injuries to his left knee and lower back.
LeBron has missed Cleveland’s past two games -the first being on his actual birthday, December 30th – because of soreness in his knee. James has a strain in his back as well.
The last four years have contained a lot of basketball for LeBron. Four straight finals appearances, plus the 2012 Olympics. James made the comparison of his knee being like a car with 40,000 miles on it.
Cavs head coach David Blatt told the media LeBron’s health is the first priority.
