There’s no love lost between Bulls star Joakim Noah and Cavs superstar LeBron James. During Friday night’s Game 3 of the second round of the NBA playoffs between the two teams, things got a little chippy.
LeBron got a dunk on Joakim; after the fact, it resulted in a stare-down, a few words – like Joakim saying F**k you Bi**h – and double technical fouls for both.
After the game, Lebron said that although he is a fan of trash talk, Noah went too far with his.
“I’m a father with three kids. It got very disrespectful,” James said. “I’m OK with competing against Jo. I love the competitive nature, but we should leave it there. The disrespectful words that he said to me were uncalled for.”
James said the best way to retaliate is to make a play.
“The best way to retaliate is by making a play. That’s the only way I know how to resolve things is by making a play to help our team,” James said. “If it was the ’90s or ’80s, I would’ve been able to say what I had to say and move on. But I got the T. And I earned it.”
