“As much as I loved my teammates back in Cleveland, as much as I loved home, I knew I couldn’t do it by myself against that team.” – Lebron James
LeBron James has finally moved past his Celtics roadblock (with the help of Dwyane Wade and the rest of the Heat.) LeBron showed a lot of growth and maturity in this game and in his post game comments. Not only was he very complimentary to the Celtics and their coach, Doc Rivers, he took a moment to apologize for “The Decision” TV special.
“I knew I had to go through Boston at some point. I went through a lot signing to be here… The way it panned out with all the friends & family & fans back home, I apologize for the way it happened. This was the opportunity of lifetime”
I really hope that’s the end of it. I know Cavs fans were hurt and embarrassed but he wanted to win so he made the best move for him. So far it looks like the right choice.
