Lakers guard Nick Young has a new goal for this season after being moved to the bench in favor of Xavier Henry. Following the Lakers win over the Atlanta Hawks Sunday, Young has decided that he wants to be “Sixth man of The Year.”
Someone brought up 6th man of the Year to Nick Young, all smiles, he said “That’s my goal”

Nick was laughing but it probably isn’t a bad goal to focus on. It worked for JR Smith last season. Nick played 21 minutes Sunday, scoring 13 points on 5-for-9 shooting. He also added four assists. Plus, he might be able to avoid the Kobe death stare.
As for Henry, the 22-year-old had a team-high 18 points in 26 minutes.
The Lakers are now 2-2, with a 2-1 home record.
