Kobe Bryant thinks he’ll play in Europe once retiring from the NBA

Kobe Bryant spent a significant portion of his youth living in Italy while his father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant played professionally there following his stint in the NBA. So it’s natural that Kobe would also consider winding up his pro career overseas. While most head overseas with the hopes of returning to the NBA, Kobe’s would probably be more of a “second life” experience.

“It would be natural for me to go do it, It wouldn’t be a stretch at all. I grew up” in Europe.

Mamba had a short time as an owner of Italy’s Olimpia Milano about 10 years ago and he almost signed with an overseas team during the lockout. This is a topic Kobe has mentioned before. The difference now, we know that his time in the NBA is actually winding down. But he’s still Kobe, he might decide to try and play until he’s 50.
